A Home for Young Families

We know it takes a village to raise a child. We at St. Paul Parish are here to welcome and support you! There are many ways for young families to become involved in parish life. Please call or text Laura Sarubbi, Director of Religious Education, if you would like to help, have questions or suggestions, need recommendations or advice (908-295-2212).  You can usually find her at the 10:00am Sunday Mass. 

Children's Liturgy of the Word

The 10:00am Mass on Sundays is the Children's Mass. Young families with little ones are most welcome and encouraged to sing! During the Liturgy of the Word, all children up to age 8 are welcome to join us in the Spiritual Center, directly below the Church. Children ages 4-8 are welcome to join us without a parent. Those with younger children are welcome to accompany them.

Parish Religious Education Program(PREP)
All Children in grades K-8 enrolled in non-Catholic schools are welcome to join PREP! Each year is a stepping stone to full initiation into the Catholic church. We therefore recommend beginning in K/1 and continuing yearly until Confirmation, in the spring of 8th grade. Teens are then encouraged to practice their faith by continuing with the St. Paul Youth (SPY) Group, becoming lectors, as well as many other opportunities. Catholic School Children
Children enrolled at St. Paul School or another Catholic school, are encouraged to participate in our Acts of Faith initiative. Click here for more information.

Exceptional Souls
Families with children with special needs are invited to partner with us as we plan family formation opportunities.

Sacramental Preparation
Children from all schools (Catholic or non-Catholic) preparing to receive a sacrament at St. Paul Parish are required to register. Click here to learn more.

PreCana
Join the PreCana team and offer one day sessions, two times per year (on in March and one in November). We especially need young couples to join us. You will see that your own marriage will be enriched when you help guide engaged couples on their journey to this beautiful sacrament.

Family Fellowship
Be sure to join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays after Mass for Coffee and Donuts in the Spiritual Center. Meet other young families and make some new friends!

Moms' Group
Interested in building friendships with other moms and their young children? Consider helping to reignite our moms' group; a place for friendship, prayer and play time.

Parent Groups
Develop a deeper relationship with God by joining the new "Walking with Purpose" prayer group (just for women, to begin Fall 2023) or the  Knights of Columbus (just for men).
