Our Programs

Traditional Religious Education Program

Summer Academy

July 22 through August 2 Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

This program is available for all grades except Kindergarten and 2nd grade. As an  intensive program Summer Academy covers 30 hours of material in a two-week period. It provides experiences of prayer, and participation in parish life.

In accordance with diocesan policy, all children enrolled in Grade 1 through 7 attending this program are required to attend 3 Family Catechesis Sessions during the school year. These sessions will take place on 12/8/2019, 3/1/2019 (for Family Life at Family Catechesis), and 5/17/2020 and will begin with the 11:30 am Mass before moving to the St. Paul School Gym for family catechesis. Children in Grade 8 are welcome to attend but are excused from the 12/8 and 5/17 family sessions because they will participate in PURPOSE Confirmation sessions throughout the year.

Additionally all Summer Academy Students are required to attend one Liturgical/Prayer opportunity at the parish. These will be explained during the Summer Academy Orientation for Families.

Family Home Study

Family Home Study will be available for all children from grades Kindergarten through 8. Families will be provided with books and a schedule during our orientation on 9/15/2019. We will attend Mass as a community at 11:30 am and move to the Saint Paul School Gym where we will have an opportunity to pray together, a brief family catechesis, and then distribution of materials. We will then meet for Family Catechesis Sessions on 12/8/2018, 3/1/2019 (Family Life at Family Catechesis), and 5/03/2019 beginning with Mass at 11:30 am. Attendance at these sessions is mandatory barring family emergency or illness.

This year registration for one child will be $150 with a family maximum of $450. Families that register before June 1, 2019 (Early Registration) will receive a $15 discount per child up to $45 per family.

Since payment will be required to register, families needing special financial consideration should call John McGuire (609)524-0509.  Special arrangements will be made to assure that all families can register. However, we do ask that individuals with these circumstances call before June 1st.
