Lectio Divina

Lectio Divina is the practice of praying with scripture; it combines reading the text in its context, listening to phrases that speak out to us, meditating on the text, and engaging with God in prayer over it. Through the richness of God’s Word, we are calmed, refreshed, and strengthened. Join us for an hour of praying with scripture every Tuesday, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Conference Room in the Spiritual Center. No prior practice or preparation necessary. For more info, email Claire at: cgmachl@gmail.com.

Once again, the Pasch of the Lord draws near! In our preparation for Easter, God in his providence offers us each year the season of Lent as a sacramental sign of our conversion. Lent summons us, and enables us to come back to the Lord wholeheartedly and in every aspect of our life.
With this message, I would like again this year to help the entire Church experience this time of grace anew, with joy and in truth.

Griggs Farm Collection for Lent

As we begin our Lenten practice of almsgiving as a community you are invited to participate in collection throughout Lent that will be dedicated to a local family who is still homeless due to the recent tragic fire at Griggs Farm in Princeton. Our parish will be contributing the additional expense of housing until they are able to move back home. As the weeks of Lent unfold, it is suggested that you give up some item that week and contribute that amount to the family’s housing. A collection box is located near the cross in the church.
